CGES KINDNESS CAMPAIGN
The Bellarmine Literacy Project is a professional learning collaborative initiative with a focus to provide teachers with the expert knowledge and tools to identify and address a child’s diagnostic and prescriptive needs related to the five components of reading (phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension).
Bullitt County was recognized for achieving ENERGY STAR certifications for 18 of their schools at the district’s May board meeting.
Over 50 elementary school fifth grade students qualified for the first annual Work Ethic Certification.
Primary and intermediate students who claimed victory in their respective school Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Challenge brought their skill sets to the district competition.
Dr. Keith Davis was honored with the F. L. Dupree Outstanding Superintendent Award during the Kentucky School Board Association’s annual conference March 2 in Louisville.
With a unanimous vote of the Bullitt County Board of Education, Mr. Jesse Bacon has been selected among four finalists as the new superintendent beginning July 1, 2018.
