I am so proud to be the Principal of Lebanon Junction Elementary! This school is more than just a school; it is a large family with tradition and pride. I want to continue the solid foundation LJ currently has and build upon it. LJ has a close knit community that is always ready to support the school. We have the potential to be a “Distinguished” school. This means we must all work together for student achievement and growth. We cannot be a successful school without a positive rapport with our student families. As the popular say goes…”It takes a village…” Everything we do is solely focused on students. If it is not about improving students’ lives, then we shouldn’t do it.
Our faculty and staff at LJ are awesome! We have excellent people that work extremely hard and care deeply for their students. All of the staff at LJ is dedicated to improving student achievement. School is more than just academics and we understand that as a school we have a responsibility to improve the lives of EACH student. We teach behavioral expectations for all areas of student life at school so that students know and can see what we expect from them. They are to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe at all times. We all follow the Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) expectations, even the adults. This is important because, not only do we expect students to experience a positive, structured environment; we expect the adults to be positive and proactive themselves.
1. Build and Maintain a Positive School Culture
2. Improve Student Achievement and Growth
3. Improve Student Attendance
