I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a masters degree in Elementary Education as well. I concluded my masters degree at WKU through distance learning courses in 2009. I am an alumni of Mount Washington Elementary School. I grew up in Mt. Washington and went to MWES, MWMS, and BEHS.
I am proud to say that I am a National Board Certified Teacher. National Boards is an intense professional development program designed to help teachers become even better by encouraging focus, reflection, and analysis of their practices. I became Nationally Certified in 2011.
I got married in June of 2008 to Dave Kleinholter. We live in Eastwood. Dave is a graduate of Western Kentucky University as well. He works with Carrier Vibrating Equipment as a mechanical engineer.
In March of 2013 we welcomed our first child, Collin Lee Kleinholter, into our family. In April of 2015 we welcomed our second child, Lucas Michael Kleinholter, into our family.
I enjoy all sorts of things. Some of my favorite things include: football, Louisville Cardinals, mexican food, exercising, planning, spending time with my friends and family, chocolate, and scented candles.
This is my tenth year at MWES. I love teaching!!
