PGE Welcomes New Assistant Principal

Pleasant Grove Family,

I am very excited to be entering my first year as Assistant Principal at Pleasant Grove Elementary School. I look forward to developing positive relationships with kids, communicating with parents, and working with staff members to ensure the highest quality educational experience for students in the classroom. For the past five years, I have taught in the Hardin County School District as a Special Education teacher at West Hardin Middle School. During my time at West Hardin, I was actively involved in various leadership roles including serving as the team lead/facilitator for the Special Education department. I have worked extensively with PBIS during this time and I am extremely excited about being involved with this program at PGES.

Read Across America This Summer!

Read Across America this summer! Students at PGE are encouraged to participate in reading activities this summer! Today they will receive a US coloring sheet with a list of reading activities on the back. They can color in a state by completing an activity or reading in that state. Students who are able to color in the whole map will get a special Popsicle party when we return to school. Be sure to email pictures of students reading in different states or doing different activities to alison.egan@bullitt.kyschools.us.
