Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Emily Hubacher
Ms. Hubacher is in her second year as a fourth grade teacher at Shepherdsville Elementary. She lives in Louisville where she was also born and raised. She graduated from Asbury University in 2005 with her B.A. in Elementary Education.

After college, Ms. Hubacher became the Education Director at a tutoring center in Louisville. There, she had the opportunity to work with small groups of struggling students to catch them up to their classmates at school. Although she loved her kids there, Ms. Hubacher longed for her own classroom. Before becoming a teacher at SES, Ms. Hubacher became our RTI math tutor. Last year finally fulfilled her dream to have her own classroom of 4th graders. She is thrilled to see both new and familiar faces in her class this year.

In her free time, Ms. Hubacher enjoys reading, yoga, and gardening. She also loves traveling and learning about new places. She enjoys spending time with her two nieces, too. She is excited about another incredible school year! The Shepherdsville staff and students are very glad that Ms. Hubacher is part of our wonderful Stingray learning community!
