Hebron's Kimberly Rasner Honored by Chick-Fil-A

Hebron's Kimberly Rasner is Honored by Chick-Fil-A

Kimberly Rasner was quite surprised when recognized by Chick-Fil-A of Okolona for a student-written letter.

“This was really unexpected but much appreciated,” Rasner said as eight grade student McKayla SanDoval read her letter during the May 4th morning meeting featuring all Hebron students and staff.

“She lets us call her Razzy for short and one reason I love Razzy is because she is such a good influence,” McKayla said.

That was one of the highlights Chick-Fil-A Marketing Manager Ashley Foxworth found inspiring after reading all 25 entries.

“I could tell McKayla really admired Ms. Rasner and all she did for students,” Foxworth noted.

She and Chick-Fil-A associate Kimmie Schmidt also presented Rasner with cards for 52 free meals.

Rasner works as an instructor tutor and also serves as archery team coach.

Here is McKayla’s full letter:

     Dear Chick Fil-A,

My favorite teacher is Ms. Rasner. We call her Razzy for short. She teaches our first class of the day and it makes me in a good mood. Our first class is leadership and Ms. Rasner is really good at teaching it.

One reason I love Razzy is because she is a good influence. She is a teacher and also a waitress at Cattleman’s. It shows that she pushes hard to make money to support herself.

I also like her because she lets us get our anger and stuff out. She lets us all tell stories when we want. She understands us kids and helps us as much as possible. We need more teachers like Razzy!
