Special Parent Event- Bully Prevention Seminar

Special Event for Parents... "Bully Prevention Seminar" April 21st 6:30-7:30 PM


This session offers information to parents, students, educators and community members the raising concern of bullying and cyberbullying. Topics such as respecting the massive internet world, realizing the exposure the internet has on our children, definitions on bullying and cyberbullying, prevention strategies for bullying, how to detect warning signs of bullying behavior, and when to report law enforcement and/or school officials when a concern exists. Parents will be able to leave the session with a toolkit of resources for internet safety and appropriate monitoring of their children.

A friendly reminder for parents: Please do not text your child during the school day. If you need to get a message to your son/daughter, please contact the front office 869-4400 and we will be sure to get the message to your child. Cell phones and other electronic devices are only to be used by students during the school day for instructional purposes per Board Policy.

ZMS Dress Code Updated

The ZMS Dress Code for students has been updated. No major changes were made, but some clarifications were added.If it is NOT on the code below please do NOT assume that it is an approved item. Also included in the code are a few of the most common infractions.  School administration reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any item.

Our School

Zoneton Middle School serves approximately 500 students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Our doors open at 7:40 a.m., the school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. The school colors are forest green, black, grey and white. The school mascot is the timber wolf. The timber wolf symbolizes honor, excellence, and pride.
