Military Veterans Visit Lebanon Junction Elementary School
Bob Devore Sr., a World War II and Korean War veteran who served aboard a Navy submarine, and his son, Navy veteran Bob Devore Jr., answered questions from Lebanon Junction Elementary School fifth grade students. Lebanon Junction Elementary School fifth grade students conduct a question and answer session with military veterans. U.S. Army veteran Jose Rosario spoke with Lebanon Junction Elementary School fifth grade students. Military veterans were captured on video during their visit to Lebanon Junction Elementary School. Family Resource Center Coordinator Tammy Perdew was the architect of the activity. Students interacted with veterans as part of a question and answer session. Military veterans visited Lebanon Junction Elementary School. Students enjoyed seeing the items veterans used during their military service. Students were eager to ask questions and... Veterans such as Marine Jack Ashbaugh were enthusiastic to respond. Students listened as military veterans answered questions about their service. Lebanon Junction Elementary School students who won the poster contest for Veterans Day are Trey Arnold and Jenny Smith. Each earned a Certificate of Recognition and a McDonald's gift card.
