Robotics Competition
Students from various schools participated in a robotics competition March 29 at Shepherdsville Elementary School. Teams of students designed and built a robot that would perform various moves by computer coded command. Shepherdsville Elementary School Teacher Rachel McBroom was a judge for the robotics competition. Awards were presented to the winning teams. One student described the action the audience was about to see from their robot. This team built a robot that could sort colors. This robot was designed to stir up a cup of hot chocolate. Bullitt Lick Middle School library media specialist Mary Allison Doyle was also a judge of the robotics competition. Robotics competition judges Mary Allison Doyle and Rachel McBroom confer with Shepherdsville Elementary School Educational Specialist and Robotics Coach Amy Waite. One of the winning teams was from Shepherdsville Elementary School. Maryville Elementary School had a winning team. Shepherdsville Elementary School had another winning team.
