Middle School Students Participate in JA Inspire
Middle school eighth grade students from Bernheim, Bullitt Lick, Eastside, Hebron, Mt. Washington and Zoneton participated in Junior Achievement JA Inspire The event was held at the Kentucky Exposition Center and featured over 100 representatives from business, civic, health, manufacturing and community agencies. Bernheim students stood in front of a green screen used by TV stations for weather forecasts. Class Act Community Federal Credit Union allowed students to play a money game. KentuckyOne Healthe sponsored the AmeriHeart interactive exhibit. Mt. Washington Middle School students spent a few moments walking through the AmeriHeart. JA Inspire required students to carry work booklets and interact with officials. Medical professionals led Mt. Washington Middle School students through hands-on demonstrations. Bernheim Middle School students listen to health professionals. Zoneton Middle School students listen to professional fire fighters. The Kentucky Kingdom exhibit had information about job opportunities. Paradise Foods allowed students to adorn gowns and caps to make tomato sauce.
