Bullitt Central High School 2015 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
2015 Bullitt Central High School Hall of Fame Inductees: Seated: Rob Williams, Arlene Romine, Linda Belcher, Reba Johnson, Dr. Kelli Miller and David Summers. Former BCHS Principal and current District Director of College and Career Readiness Christy Coulter welcomes guests to the 2015 Hall of Fame induction in the cafeteria. Millie Anderson was recognized as 2015's Outstanding Parent Volunteer. BCHS alumnae and 49th District State Rep. Linda Belcher was the first inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2015. Retired BCHS teacher Jack Thompson recognized one of his former students John Bickers (Class of 1981). John is Associate Professor of Law with Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. Christy Coulter presents retired BCHS teacher Boyce Bruner with an engraved acrylic award. He was the agriculture teacher and Future Farmers of America Advisor for 27 years. Mike Davis (Class of 1982) was honored as the creator of the nation's first automated victim notification service, or VINE. Brett Dawson (Class of 1991) was recognized for his work in journalism and his coverage in The Courier-Journal of The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball program. Christy Coulter recognizes current math teacher Reba Johnson for her 33 years of service at Bullitt Central. Dr, Kelli Miller (Class of 1990) joined Woman First of Louisville in 2002 and practices Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dale and Leona Myers accepted on behalf of their son, Allan, (Class of 1989). Allan is the author of Outside The Hacienda Walls: The Archaeology of Plantation Peonage in Nineteenth Century Yucatan. Dr. Kenneth Oder (Class of 1976) is a resident of Family Medicine at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, S.C. Retired BCHS teacher Arlene Romine was an instructor for 21 years. David Summers is both an alumnae and a retired teacher. He was the public address announcer at BCHS football and basketball games. Rob Williams (Class of 1978) invested his entire career in education serving as a math teacher at Bullitt East High School and Assistant Principal at both North Bullitt and Bullitt Central High Schools.
