Shepherdsville Elementary Saturday School Cookout
The parachute game was part of the Shepherdsville Elementary Saturday School cookout. At one point, girls were on the floor while boys lowered the parachute over them then they took turns. Students made a parachute by lifting the fabric as high as they could. The final activity was the parachute game. A large crowd of Saturday school students and parents attended the cookout. Smaller children were assisted by those who were older. Students filled their tray with food. The Saturday school cookout included hot dogs, chips, an icy treat, an apple and either chocolate or white milk. Students were challenged by throwing a frisbee into a goal. Traci Sewell discussed the next activity with kids. Stacking buckets into a pyramid. Students tagged during competition. One of the many games coordinated by Dennis Minnis and Traci Sewell was balancing a rubber ball while walking around cones. Shepherdsville Elementary School students played corn hole during a Saturday school cookout. Shepherdsville Elementary School students played with hula hoops during a cookout for the Saturday school program.
