2015 Kindergarten Kickoff
Questions about health services were answered by district LPN Kim Buchanan. L-R: School Food Services Managers Katrina Holt (Lebanon Junction Elementary School), Laura Coleman (Maryville Elementary School) and Sandra Bruckert (Mt. Washington Elementary School) greet visitors. Infinite Campus Coordinator Lesa Duncan answers questions. Department of Pupil Personnel Administrative Assistant Debbie Farmer provides information to a parent. In addition to schools, central office departments such as transportation were onhand so students could board an school bus before the first day of school. Participants at Kindergarten Kickoff could select a free book. Lebanon Junction Elementary School kindergarten teachers answer questions from parents. Mt. Washington Elementary School will also experience a major renovation this year hence the hello hard hat. A new Freedom Elementary School kindergarten student listens to his teacher. The congestion of people in the aisle is sort of symbolic of what Maryville Elementary School staff and students will contend with during a major renovation. Maryville staff wore shirts indicative of the construction to the facility. Visitors stop by the Cedar Grove Elementary School booth. Counselor Casey Newberry can be seen kneeling and greeting a student. With balloons decorating the Shepherdsville Elementary School booth, kindergarten teachers greeted kids and parents. A lot of activity at the Roby Elementary School booth. Roby also has a new administrator with Brittany Knipp. All 13 Bullitt County elementary schools had a booth with the principal and kindergarten teachers present. This child looks at a giveaway at the Brooks booth. The school has a new principal - Melissa Boyle. Kindergarten students gather to help cut the ribbon at Paroquet Springs Conference Centre to officially open the 2015 Kindergarten Kickoff.
