The lunch for June 16 was a deli wrap, chips/salsa, pickles, juice, cookie and a choice of white or chocolate milk. The Summer Food Service Program at the Hillview Community Center. Kids enjoy their Bosco sticks and side items. A choice of chocolate or white milk is served with every lunch. Kids pick up their bagged lunch then enjoy their food at a picnic table. Lunch at the Frank E. Simon Park is served from 12:05-12:25 Monday-Friday except July 4, Anyone age 18 and under is welcome to enjoy a nutritious sack lunch. Parents prepare the lunch for their kids, This summer, Domino's Pizza has partnered with the program to offer cheese and pepperoni pizza slices every other Thursday. At all of the Summer Food Service Program sites, meals are served Monday through Friday at various times (Cedar Grove Apartments is 12:40-1:00 p.m.) The only day meals are not served is July 4. The annual Summer Food Service Program is serving nutritious lunches free to participants 18 years of age and younger. One of the Shepherdsville sites is the Cedar Grove Apartments.
