Freedom Elementary School Celebrates Red Ribbon Week
Freedom Elementary School celebrated Red Ribbon Week Oct. 23-29 with an anti-bullying focus. For Monday’s theme, students and staff wore neon and sunglasses to show that “We are too bright to Bully! Mrs. Kennedy’s class. Mr. Foster's class. Mrs. Axline's class. Mrs. Fluharty’s class. Mrs. Castle’s class. Tuesday was Red, White and Blue Day. “Voting for the future to be bully free!” These are kindergarten students. Preschool celebrates red, white and blue day. First grade students. Second grade students. Third grade students. Fourth grade students. Fifth grade students. Wednesday, students and staff wore Super Hero shirts to fight against bullying. This is Mrs. Kremer’s class. Mrs. Tierney’s class. Mrs. Harris’ class. Mrs. Holladay’s class. Mrs. McHolland's class. Mrs. Walker’s class. Mrs. Reid's morning preschool class are anti-bulling super heroes! Mrs. Reid's afternoon preschool class are anti-bulling super heroes! Thursday was “Turn your back on Bullying” Day. We wore our clothes backwards and turned our backs on bullying. These are third grade students. Kindergarten students turn their backs on bullying. First grade students turn their backs on bullying. Second grade students turn their backs on bullying. Fourth grade students turn their backs on bullying. Fifth grade students turn their backs on bullying. Friday, staff dressed as their favorite storybook character to show they have too much character for Bullying. This is Fancy Nancy and Amelia Bedelia (Mrs. Self and Mrs. Manning). The lunchroom staff dressed as their favorite Sesame Street characters. The Freedom staff dressed as their favorite book characters. Too Much Character. This is Mrs. Janes' class. Too Much Character.
