Dozens of educators attended a Digital Learning Academy June 1 at Bullitt Central High School. District Technology Integration Specialist Keith Barnes discussed what teachers need to know the first few days of class to make students familiar with their Chromebooks. He gave an overview of GradeCam along with the newest features in the Student Portal and GradeCam Core (Advanced Reporting). Jessica Vowels spoke about effectively utilize NoRedInk Grammar in classrooms using such methods as curriculum design, best practice for instruction and tips for ensuring student success. Major Robert Carter of the Madisonville Police Dept. discussed conflict resolution program in the workplace.
