Charging Procedures

The new charging procedure and allowable number of charges for students as indicated in 07.1 AP.1 follows:

• Allow up to five (5) breakfast and or lunch charges for elementary school students with unlimited alternative lunch meals provided.  Alternative breakfast meals are not provided.
• Allow up to three (3) breakfast and or lunch charges for middle school students with up to five (5) alternative lunch meals provided.  Alternative breakfast meals are not provided.
• No charging permitted for high school students.  High school students are permitted up to five (5) alternative lunch meals per school year to cover occasions when lunch is forgotten.  Alternative breakfast meals are not provided.
• No charging permitted for adults.
• Students at all grade levels and adults are not permitted to charge a la carte items.
• Alternative meals provided on an emergency basis:
• Consists of a cheese sandwich and white milk
• Breakfast meals are not provided, only lunch
• Modifications will be made for students with special dietary needs
