Bullitt County Public Schools has three social workers who provide a wide range of services to students and their families. They serve as home-school-community liaisons working with children, parents, teachers, and community agencies to promote a successful school experience for all children in Bullitt County Schools. Services include home visitation, group work, assessment and short-term counseling, parent education and support, referral to community service providers, attendance improvement, and development of programs and resources to meet the emotional, social, and physical needs of students.

Susan Bibelhauser is the social worker assigned to assist students at North Bullitt and Bullitt Central High Schools. Ms. Bibelhauser is also the district’s Title IX Coordinator and the district level supervisor for the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers. Ms. Bibelhauser ensures that staff and students are trained in harassment/discrimination law, policy, and procedures, and investigates allegations of harassment and discrimination for the district.

Jennifer Williams is the social worker assigned to Brooks, Freedom, Nichols, Maryville, Roby, Overdale, and Shepherdsville Elementary schools and Bullitt Lick , Hebron, and Zoneton Middle Schools. Ms. Williams is also the coordinator for the English Language Learners program for all schools in the district.

Linda Nason is the social worker assigned to Pleasant Grove, Cedar Grove, Crossroads, Lebanon Junction, Old Mill, and Mt. Washington Elementary Schools, Bernheim, Eastside, and Mt. Washington Middle Schools, and Bullitt East High School and Riverview Opportunity Center. Ms. Nason is also the coordinator for the Homeless Education Assistance Program for all schools in the district.
