Bullitt County Public Schools: The Leader in Educational Excellence

Principal's Message

Greetings Cougar Nation,

As the new principal at Bullitt Central High School, I am honored and excited to be a part of Cougar Nation. My wife Danielle, my kids (Kylie and Landon), and I feel truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing community. I welcome the opportunity to serve the Bullitt Central learning and teaching community and look forward to working with a dynamic staff, dedicated parents and involved community members. Most of all, I look forward to working with our students and continuing the outstanding work at Bullitt Central High School.

The phrase, “We are BC “, holds deep meaning and is rich in tradition.  Simply put, it is a lifetime commitment of caring for one another and ensuring the safety and success of every member of the Cougar Family. Every member of our Cougar Family is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our students. We will work diligently to provide a safe, supportive and challenging learning environment, where strong relationships will enable us to set high, yet personalized, expectations for ALL students. Our mission is to provide an engaging, enriching and rigorous curricular program that will prepare our students to meet the demands of their post-secondary plans-whether it is college or career.

As your principal, I believe my primary mission is to develop a positive culture where parents want to send their children, students want to learn, teachers want to teach, and employees want to work.  This kind of culture only happens with a commitment to forming impactful relationships where everyone we encounter feels valued and encouraged. The very heart of my role as your principal is to create a safe place for everyone to dream big, empower everyone to act on those dreams and take risks, support everyone when they do, and then promote the achievements and growth of our students, staff, and community for all to celebrate.

Again, I feel very blessed and honored to be a part of such a great tradition of excellence at Bullitt Central High School. I look forward to getting to know the staff, students, and families that make Bullitt Central such a special place. Together, I believe we can move Bullitt Central forward and set the new standard for excellence in academics, athletics, and service in Bullitt County and the state.

Go Cougars!
