Message from Mrs. Hill

I am incredibly honored to have been selected as the principal of Roby Elementary.  I am committed to working closely and collaboratively with students, faculty, parents, and the community to raise student achievement, and ensure safety for all students. I believe it takes teachers and parents working together to ensure a good learning experience for students.

The staff at Roby Elementary works hard to support our student’s growth academically, socially, and emotionally.  Alongside our staff, the passion and dedication of our Parent Teacher Association and our Site Base Council helps support our school in multiple ways.  I appreciate everything they do to support our students and staff. We would love to have more family members volunteering and involved here at Roby Elementary.  Your thoughts, opinions, and ideas are important to me. Please take a few minutes to take a short survey about our school https://goo.gl/QWecaM..   I value your input and will take this into consideration as I make changes for the  2018-2019 school year.

Thank you in advance for your support and commitment.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 502-869-7200 or tonya.hill@bullitt.kyschools.us.

Sincerely,
Tonya Hill

Important Annoucement

Pirate Leaders and Families,

I hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of school before the much needed Winter Break! These weeks are the toughest to stay focused and remember there is much learning to be done before school is out for the holiday season, but I know all Roby Leaders can do it!

It is with a very heavy heart that I have decided to resign as the Principal of Roby Elementary beginning January 2018. After much thought and consideration, this is the best decision for my family and my health. I have enjoyed every minute of leading Roby and know that the next leader will continue the momentum and take Roby to the next level. Mr. Firquin will continue to lead Roby as interim principal until the right leader is chosen by the SBDM council and school community.

I want to thank each of you for trusting me to lead Roby Elementary for the past 2.5 years and for supporting this very tough decision. I look forward to seeing the great things that Roby does in the future and will forever be a Roby Leader!

Thanks!

Brittany Knipp
Principal
