Hello! I am THRILLED to be a Shepherdsville Stingray! My name is Kendra Faucett and this is my 2nd year at SES. However, I have been working in schools since 2001! My experience includes several school systems in Tennessee and Kentucky, including 10 years at Boston School in Nelson County, Kentucky.
I earned my undergrad degree in Psychology from Lipscomb University and I have a Masters in Education, with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from Freed-Hardeman University.
I have a 17-year old daughter and a 14-year old son. My husband is a history teacher and football coach for Bullitt East High School. We also have two rescue dogs that I spoil more than I should.
In my free time, I love to read. I also spend quite a bit of time at the football field in the fall since my husband coaches and my son plays. During the winter, I can be found in a gym at my son's wrestling tournaments. My daughter will be graduating from high school this year, so I will be getting to visit some colleges with her.
I am eager to start a new year with the fantastic 5th graders of SES!
