Mr. Jason Baragary selected as the new principal for Shepherdsville Elementary

Jason Baragary

Stingray Family,

It is my pleasure to announce the selection of Mr. Jason Baragary as the new principal at Shepherdsville Elementary School. Mr. Baragary is no stranger to the SES community where he has served as Assistant Principal since January of 2019. He possesses a great understanding of the needs of the Shepherdsville Elementary and the ability to continue the positive progress that has been made through the hard work of so many. Mr. Baragary received his Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Iowa State University. He earned a Masters in Teaching and a Masters in Education Administration from the University of Louisville. Prior to his transition to SES, Mr. Baragary taught at the Robert Frost Academy in JCPS. Congratulations to Mr. Jason Baragary

Online Registration for 2020-2021 School Year

These are exciting times for BCPS!  We have moved exclusively to online registration for the 2020-2021 school year! A parent/legal guardian from every family must have a parent portal account to register your child this upcoming year.  For those who are asking, "even existing students?", yes, even existing students must register online.

If you do not have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal (ICPP) account, please email and she will send easy to follow, step-by-step instructions and your activation code.  If you already have an account but cannot access it, again, please reach out to Miss Dina and she will be happy to help.

Don't wait til the last minute....get your account set up today.

For the 2019 -2020 school year: Doors will open at 8:40 for all students! Remember…students wanting breakfast will report to the cafeteria before heading to class. Please plan to have your child to school in time to eat their breakfast before they start class! Our school day starts promptly at 9:10. If you are dropping your child off after this time please report to the front office to sign them in. Our dismissal time continues to be 3:50. Please be sure your child knows how they will be going home each day. If your child is a walker or car rider you will be required to have a car tag or walker tag to pick your child up. These tags are available in the front office. If you do not have a tag you will not be able to pick up your child. Instead, you will be sent to the office to acquire the correct tag before we release your child to you. Also, parents of car riders must wait in the car rider line just as parents of walkers must actually walk to the school. Please remember that students must be picked up by an adult.
