Facts About Bed Bug Situation Bed Bug Letter

September 13, 2018 Dear Parents and Guardians, To clarify rumors spreading throughout the school and community, we recently found bed bugs in our school. Our district policy, like many other public venues (hospitals, libraries, etc.), states that we cannot exclude students with bugs from entering our schools, however, we are taking every precautionary measure to ensure students are being checked and district protocols are being followed to alleviate the problem.

Limited Redistricting Proposal (CORRECTED) for 2018-19


The following is a proposal to reduce student crowding at schools in the eastern part of the county, especially Pleasant Grove Elementary and to more effectively utilize classroom space in the northern part of the county, will be submitted to the Board of Education for consideration at its November 27, 2017 regular meeting. See the attached link for the specific proposal and streets that would be affected should this be approved. There is a limited public comment period near the beginning of each regular business meeting of the Board of Education.

Living Allowance/Pay:  $1,210 per month, depending on start date for term of service, in living allowance, less FICA and other applicable taxes
