Annual Attendance Summary

(Data submitted on the Superintendent’s Annual Attendance Report)

The Calendar contains 187 total days for the 2020-2021 school year.  This includes 166 attendance days for students, 1 Opening Day and 1 Closing Day for teachers, 4 Holidays,  4 Professional Development Days and 11 Teacher Planning Days.

The schools generate attendance reports 10 times throughout the year with the first 9 months containing 20 days each and 7 days in month 10.   The reports are sent to the central office where they are verified.  The monthly reports found on the related pages are created using data submitted by the schools.

Two times per year the Student Services Department generates and submits student enrollment, ethnic, membership and attendance data to the Department of Education.  The Growth Factor Report due no later than November 1st of the school year provides information for the first two school months.  The Superintendent’s Annual Attendance Report due no later than June 30th of the school year provides year-end attendance information.
