Band students make prestigious Honor Bands

We would like to recognize a number of our band students for their achievements in the past couple of months. These students auditioned for and were accepted into some very prestigious honor bands.

Congratulations to Kirstin Lohden, who made the Kentucky All-State Concert Band. Making any Kentucky All-State group is one of the highest honors a high school band student can achieve; high school musicians from all around the state of Kentucky audition for a very limited number of spots within these All-State groups. Only the best of the best are accepted into one of these bands! We are very proud of all students that auditioned and commend their hard work.

The following students successfully auditioned for and made the Western Kentucky University Honor Band. This band is open to students from around the area.

  • Kirstin Lohden - senior

  • Anna Minnis - sophomore

  • Addison Reid - senior

  • Taylor Stafford - senior

“These students worked tirelessly and independently on mastering their individual audition music,” says Band Director Mckinley. “We are honored for these individuals to represent North Bullitt during their participation in these prestigious Honor Band opportunities!”
