Welcome back, Bullitt East!

Charger Nation

Welcome back to school, Bullitt East students, staff, and parents. This may not be the traditional way to start a school year, but all of us at Bullitt East High School are excited to be back in session. Although we wish we could be together in person, the safety of our staff, students, and community is our biggest priority. Starting remote allows us to protect our community, and it gives us time to reopen safely.

I would like to recognize our staff and students for the flexibility and patience they have demonstrated through the end of last year and the opening weeks of this year. I’d also like to acknowledge the parents in our district. I know that in the spring and the beginning of this year, we have asked you to shoulder much of the burden. Many of you have been active participants in your child’s remote learning, even as you also adapt to changes in your own job. Again, we greatly appreciate your flexibility and patience.

One of our goals this year is to communicate consistently with our students, staff, parents, and other community members. There are too many exciting and interesting things happening within our walls to not share the news. Through our new newsletter, Charging Forward, we will be able to update you with any pertinent Bullitt East information, successes, and updates. We will be sending an issue out bi-weekly, rotating with the new district newsletter. We want this newsletter to be available to anyone who is interested; make sure to share with your friends and family!

So please, enjoy the first edition of Charging Forward-- there’s many more to come!
