NBHS Band Program receives grant

Max & Victoria Dreyfus Foundation

Congratulations to the NBHS Band Program, which received an incredibly generous grant from The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, Inc. The grant will go toward expanding the current Band Program.

“The money will be used to breathe new life into our Band Program,” says Band teacher Mr. Brandon McKinley. “We will be able to replace old, outdated equipment, and obtain the equipment necessary to get our Competitive Marching Band and Concert Band programs up and running at higher standards!”

This is an opportunity to give the Band Program the love it's been craving, giving the program opportunities to purchase new and modern equipment. The grant will open doors for students to further explore what the Band Program has to offer beyond what they have previously experienced.

“We want to thank The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, Inc. for their ‘beyond’ generous donation, NBHS Administration for their relentless support, and the NBHS Music parents and students for their undying commitment to music making in our community,” says Mr. McKinley. “We could not achieve any of this without all of you!”

NBHS is excited to see how the Band Program will grow in the coming years.
