ATC aviation

Aviation Program Description

The Bullitt County ATC Aviation program is focused on the aspects of flight from the prospective of pilots and commercial drone operators. Students will learn about flight, how planes fly, weight and balance, air space regulations, weather, and other critical aspects of aviation including the use of flight simulators and various FAA texts.

Students finishing this program may also wish to pursue the Aviation Maintenance Pathway which is a dual credit cohort between BCPS and JCTC. Students can finish 41% of this program while in high school. See the Dual Credit Cohorts and Course Offerings to learn more about this opportunity.
