In Ms. Mann’s Spanish 1 classes, students created profiles on famous Hispanics from history. Then, they had a gallery walk/scavenger hunt to discover answers to questions about these incredible individuals. Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th to October 15th in the United States, and they’ll keep exploring and celebrating Hispanic culture in the coming weeks!

❤️A SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT TO THE BULLITT EAST ADVANCED CHOIR! ❤️
Friday night, our Advanced Choir had the honor of singing at the opening ceremony for the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. They approached the opportunity with honor, humility, and respect. They were humbled not only to sing for our community, but especially for the Vietnam veterans who were there to be remembered, recognized, and honored. Our students represented Bullitt East beautifully without their director.
Our students demonstrated the Graduate Profile by being Community Controbutors, Productive Collaborators and Self-Directed Navigators. On Sunday, senior Elizabeth Benfield proudly represented Bullitt East by singing the National Anthem at the Wall’s closing ceremony.
Thank you to Elizabeth and every Advanced Choir member for using your voices to honor, remember, and serve. I could not be more proud!
Your voices, character, and service matter. You showed what it means to be Chargers. ❤️💛

Spanish 3 & AP 4 students are currently tackling a very in-depth, college level topic: the 2 past tenses en español. They made great comparisons, connections, and defenses on when to use each one and why.
¡Bien hecho!
¡Bien hecho!
Unrivaled community spirit on display! ❤️💛🖤
We are incredibly proud of our Bullitt East students and student-athletes who volunteered with the Miracle League of Louisville. They spent their day assisting athletes with disabilities and making sure everyone had a chance to play, smile, and experience the joy of baseball. 🎒⚾️
Our students truly embodied what it means to be a Charger today—bringing energy, kindness, and an inclusive spirit to the field. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to serve!

Our students in Mrs. Anderson’s Accounting and Finance class took a major step toward their futures yesterday by participating in hands-on Mock Interviews! 💼✨
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible community volunteers from Junior Achievement for spending time with our students, asking tough questions, and providing valuable real-world feedback on their resumes, communication, and STAR-method responses. Special thanks to our Army Recruiter and BEHS Teachers for stepping in to assist! We even had a senior conduct an interview!
Our students walked away with boosted confidence, practical interview skills, and personalized advice to help them land future jobs and internships. We are so proud of their hard work and professionalism! 👏📚

Dear Prospective Student Drivers and Families,
We’re excited to support you as you prepare for your driver’s permit test!
To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend starting the No Pass/No Drive form process at least 10 school days before your scheduled appointment. This allows enough time for:
The student to complete their portion accurately
Verification of student credentials per KRS 159.051
Required signatures to be gathered
Notification of completion (email to student)
Student pickup of the completed form
Please note that this is not a same-day or counter service process.
Breaks and holidays may cause delays. In these cases, updates will be shared through email, text messages, school announcements and Google Classroom.
Additional information is available on the school website under For Our Students.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Best of luck on your upcoming test!
