Tomorrow we will be holding our Veterans Day Ceremony at CES. In honor of our veterans, we're asking that our students and staff come to school dressed in their Patriotic Best colors (Red, White, and Blue)!
Final Reminder that our Family Literacy Night will be held tonight at CES from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
We look forward to seeing all of our families out for some great learning and giveaways!
In addition, Title I Parent Compacts were sent home today. Please review with your students, sign, and return to school.

PTA Candle Fundraiser Pick-Up:
Orders from the PTA Fundraiser are available for pick-up! You can pick up your orders:
-Before school from 8:30 - 9:00 AM
-During School Hours (9:00 - 3:40)
-After School until 4:30 PM
All orders should be picked up by Thursday, October 31 @ 3:15 PM.

This is just a reminder that we will hold our Fall Conferences for families to meet with teachers tonight at CES from 4:00 - 6:30 PM. At these conferences you can check in with your students teacher and pick up a copy of their report card if needed.
We will also be hosting our Family Night for our Book Fair throughout the night so be sure to stop in and check that out as well.
We look forward to seeing all of our CES Family here tonight!
SBDM Parent Voting
The following candidates have been nominated for our vacant parent position on the Crossroads School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council:
-Chrissy Diehl
-April Lossie
-Jacob Wardrip
This position will serve for the remainder of the 2024-2025 term which will expire on June 30, 2025.
Per the SBDM Bylaws, voting will take place TONIGHT at the regularly scheduled PTA Meeting. The meeting will be held at 5:30 PM in the Library.
In order to vote, you must have a student currently enrolled at CES for the 2024-2025 school year.
Thank you to our nominees for your willingness to serve and for those who take the time to come out and vote tonight.
Chess Practice Update:
Due to Fall Conferences and the Book Fair Family Night tomorrow from 4:00 - 6:30, our Tuesday Chess Practice for 1st-3rd graders will be moved to Wednesday, October 23rd at the same time (4:00 - 5:00 PM).

Happy Thursday Trailblazer Families,
Due to an unforeseen issue, the 1st Grade Field trip planned for Tuesday, October 15 is being rescheduled for Wednesday, October 30th.
We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to taking all of our students on this trip later this month.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to your teacher or our front office once we return from Fall Break next Tuesday!
