Eastside Families:

EMS will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 10th at 9AM in the Eastside gymnasium. We would love for our students who have Veterans in their family to attend.

If your child has a veteran(s) in the family who will be able to attend our ceremony, please click on the link below to fill out the forms so we can be prepared to welcome all those who attend.

Note: PLEASE ONLY FILL OUT ONE FORM PER FAMILY!

You will have a place to indicate the names of all EMS students from your family welcoming a veteran, as well as a place to indicate if you have more than one veteran per family.

High Attendance Day is coming! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 9th! Students & staff members who are here for the full day will get to enjoy a free dress-down day AND a 50% off coupon for a drink from Biggby Coffee! Let’s make it a day to show up, learn, and celebrate being at school! 💙 ☕️👟 Tomorrow is also our last day for our Childhood Cancer Awareness Week snack drive! Free dress down day for all, but please send in snacks and participate in spirit dress, "Black out the Battle; Light Up the Hope!" by wearing something black!

Three more days left to send in donations for families affected by childhood cancer! Please send in non-perishable, individually wrapped snack items before Friday. The Aviators are currently in the lead for the popcorn party, but hope all of our students want to be community contributors and donate what they can, regardless of reward! Tomorrow's spirit dress is "Put a Lid on Cancer!" If students wear a hat, they can dress down for free, but we ask that they try to bring in at least one item to donate if possible! Thank you for your continued support of our community, Eastside! 🎩 🧢 👒

Reminder, Eastside families! 💛 BCPS Childhood Cancer Awareness Week begins tomorrow! Students are encouraged to participate in our spirit dress days and help support families at children’s hospitals by donating unopened, pre-packaged snacks. Please place them at the end of your team's hallway to be tallied for our team competition! Spirit dress for Monday: “Team Up for a Cure” — Wear your favorite team attire! 🏈🏀⚾
