Holiday cheer is in full force here at Freedom this week! As we wrap up the week, here are a couple of reminders before we leave for winter break.
1) Please check the lost and found. We need them to be returned to their homes by Friday! Any remaining items will be donated.
2) December snack cart will be tomorrow (Thursday) instead of Friday due to the holiday parties on Friday.
3) Thursday's holiday theme is: Wear your favorite holiday shirt! Friday's holiday theme is: Pajama Day!

Celebrate the holiday season with us at Freedom this week!

Our 2nd grade classes did some text features surgery today! They looked for bold print, illustrations, table of contents, and more text features in their nonfiction magazines.

Mayor Eden came to talk to our 4th grade students about the Hillview Food Pantry as part of the 4th grade Hunger Project. Please continue to send in your cans!

Freedom has the holiday spirit!

Still looking for a great gift for your kids? We have just restocked our youth size navy hooded sweatshirts and will have limited supply available for purchase at our Santa Shop next week! To guarantee your size, fill out this form and send it back in with payment to have your order filled before Christmas break. (Or send money in next week for shopping at Santa shop!)
We still are looking for volunteers as well to help work at our Santa shop. We need volunteers Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:30 to help set up, unload inventory and decorate (bring a dolly if you have it!) and every day next week from 8:30am-3:00pm (you don’t have to work that entire time). We hope everyone had a great 4 day weekend! We are so excited to welcome our kiddos back into the building tomorrow. Thanks for the awesome suggestion from one of our parents to include the breakfast and lunch menus to our post. Also feel free to view our MealViewer website to find nutritional information for our meals as well. https://schools.mealviewer.com/school/FreedomElem
Our November character education word that our students are learning is gratitude. We have incorporated a wonderful way for our families to express their gratitude to Freedom Staff members through our FES Shoutout form.
We are grateful for all that you do in partnering with us to educate students!
