Hello families! We are excited to bring back our Title 1 Freedom Morning Breakfast! Due to the number of students that we have, we are not able to open up the cafeteria to parents/guardians during lunch time. But we have developed a plan that allows you the chance to have breakfast with your child. Each grade level will have their own morning dedicated to having breakfast with their parent/guardian. This year we will have 4 opportunities throughout the year to eat breakfast with your student(s), so if you cannot join us for the first one you'll have lots of opportunities. Breakfast is served from 8:30-8:50. Please complete the Google Form to indicate that you are coming so our cafeteria can plan accordingly. https://forms.gle/1zcx41ptecc4B9WM8 Adult breakfast which consists of 1-milk, 1- juice and/or 1-fresh fruit & a choice of 1 entree for $2.90. What a great first week of school we had! We are so excited to have our kids back in the building. Lots of relationship and team building activities as well as setting of routines and expectations. This year is shaping up to be a great one! A few reminders as we enter our second week. Thank you for all of your flexibility and patience as we start the school year. We know that often times there is a delay the first few weeks with morning and afternoon car rider. Car Rider Tips and Procedures for FES ● Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 9:00 a.m. (This allows the students time to move through the building and arrive to class in time to get settled and prepared for class to begin) ● Students must wait in their cars until 8:30, nobody is allowed to be on the front steps before the opening of the doors. ● Parents/guardians cannot walk their students up to the front doors. This takes away parking spaces from our staff members, causes the line to slow down, and is a safety concern with walking in front of cars. ● The earlier you arrive, the easier and quicker the car rider process will be for you. ● Students are responsible to open and close the car door. (prior to exiting, please make sure your Falcon is prepared to exit expeditiously. This will aid in the car lane moving efficiently and effectively.) ● Please be sure to have your son or daughter exit on the right side of your vehicle. (If a student is in need of assistance, personnel will be there to assist) ● After your child has safely exited the car and the door has been closed, we ask that you continue to drive forward slowly and cautiously. ● After 9:00 a.m., your Falcon is tardy. Parents, you are expected to sign in your son or daughter at this time. ● We ask that you park your car and sign your student in. We will have sign in sheets and tardy slips in the main office. ● Please do not drive around the car in front of you. We want to ensure the safety of all of our FES families. ● Please arrive early and be courteous to one another 🙂
