Students with zero unexcused absences or tardies and a good behavior record from September 16 through October 3 are eligible for extra recess and a treat this Friday . Be sure to send in any absent notes by tomorrow to make sure your student gets to celebrate with us!

Smile! Picture day is tomorrow! If your child is wearing dress shoes, you might consider sending tennis shoes in your child's backpack for recess or PE.

There is no school tomorrow! Students have the day off while staff participate in Bullitt Day trainings. This is a short week for students. The Bullgod Bark includes information about the second round of basketball tryouts this week.

As adults, this looks like a basic task. But to a first grader, using scissors takes a great deal of concentration. Students in first grade practiced their fine motor skills while reviewing expectations for scissor safety.

Let's give a big BCPS welcome to Ms. Heather Brewer Allen, our new District Instructional Coach!✨
A familiar face in our district, Heather brings 15 years of dedicated experience to her new role. Many of you know her from her time as an elementary teacher or, most recently, as the Reading and Math Interventionist at Nichols Elementary. We are so excited to have her share her passion and expertise across the district.
Please join the entire BCPS team in congratulating Heather as she transitions into her new position supporting Lebanon Junction Elementary School. Welcome aboard, Heather!🧡
