We never get tired of making positive phone calls home. Here's just two of this week's paws-itive office referrals for being respectful and always being a role model to others. Way to go, Cayson and Brentley!

Shout out to our district Digital Literacy Coach, Stefanie Kleinholter, for working with our kindergarten students on how to use their chrome books and Seesaw.

Cub Scout Meeting Tomorrow Night

The best thing about reading is that you can do it anywhere. Today in third grade, we found readers on the floor, readers reclining comfortably, readers under their desk for privacy, and even readers who walked while they read. #justread #readeveryday

We are halfway through day 4 of school and our classrooms are busy! Fundations lessons, rounding to the nearest ten in math, circle time, kindergartners making their name in cereal or string, determining fact or opinion, and indoor recess. It's so good to have students back in the building!

Welcome back to the Bulldog Bark! Check out this year's first edition for updates and information for Lebanon Junction Elementary.

Aisling continued the celebrations at the end of the day. Thanks for being such a great role model for other students!

Can you feel the excitement for this paws-itive office referral? We couldn't be more proud of Eli and his desire to make this a great year.

Congrats to our first Paws-itive office referrals this school year. What a way to start your fifth grade year and be the example for everyone else s leaders in the building! Great job, Taylor and Kyleigh!

Cup building challenge in Steam Lab. How high can you stack 30 cups? Can you reconfigure your structure to make your building even higher without getting any additional cups?

Some of our first day pictures as students learn about each other and their new class.

Books and Baller Camp was a HUGE success! The camp was such a great event for students to work with their families while they participated in basketball and reading stations. Thank you families and LJ students! Thanks to Journey Church for donating delicious pizzas. Thank you to our guest speakers; Chad Foster, owner of Daddios Pizza and Debbie Whitsell, LJ Instructional Coach. We appreciate Lana Dixon, LJ Reading Intervention Teacher, for providing literacy strategies to use at home to enhance fluency. The students learned all about the wonderful programs that the library offers thanks to the Lebanon Junction and the Central Public Library. Thanks to the Bullitt County Warriors youth basketball team and the many other volunteers that helped to make our camp a success. We would also like to thank David and Lynette Ward for bringing The Dream Express and donating books to all campers.
