ATTENDANCE MATTERS

02/23/2024

Nichols Knights Families,

This week, our gym buzzed with excitement as students from second through fifth grade gathered for this year’s STEM challenge! With minds fueled by curiosity and hands itching to create, the teams brainstormed, designed, and tinkered with enthusiasm. Our Knight’s creativity knows no bounds! As the challenge drew to a close, the room echoed with cheers of triumph and pride as each team proudly showcased their creations. Thank you, Mrs. Yates, for organizing the challenge!

We also wanted to give a special shout-out to our fourth graders for working so hard today on testing. You all are awesome!

Today’s tidbit from the Student Handbook is a about:

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

  • Participation in any extra-curricular activities such as archery and track, is dependent on passing grades, good health, and good behavior.

  • Office referrals, suspensions, etc. could result in a student being dismissed from the team.

AFTER SCHOOL EVENTS

  • A student who is absent from school or goes home early may not participate in any after school events that evening.

  • If a student is tardy, they must be present for more than half of the school day to be able to participate in evening events.

Upcoming dates:

March 1 - Quarter 3 Ends

March 8 - Spring Pictures

March 11 - Bullitt Day (No School) and Kindergarten Pre-registration day

Have a wonderful weekend!
