Veterans Day 2025

Thank you Pleasant Grove Community for an amazing Veterans Day program.

To our veterans—thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and the example you continue to set for all of us. Your courage and dedication remind us why this day matters so deeply.  We honored 158 veterans during the 2 programs and each Veteran in attendance went home with a button designed by their student in art, a Veterans Day Hat, a Photo with their loved one and a sweet treat at our reception in the library.  We sincerely hope you felt loved and appreciated!

To our volunteers and the incredible team who worked behind the scenes—thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your hearts to make this event so meaningful.  Photos will be sent home with students, but you can click here to view the photo gallery.

To the Roll Call Foundation and the Purple Heart Program—thank you for your partnership and for the important work you do to support and recognize our heroes.  We were thrilled to receive the Kentucky Purple Star Award and also be able to donate from our hat day fundraiser $1500 to the Roll Call Foundation.

To our students and our wonderful student emcees (Madelyn Hudgins and Hudson Troutman), National Anthem singer, Aniston DeLong and entire school of singers who closed out the show—your enthusiasm and respect, made today truly special. You honored our veterans with sincerity and pride. Your beautiful performance brought emotion and spirit to the ceremony in a way that words alone never could.

God Bless the USA!
