🐾📖 Celebrating Our Principal During Principal’s Month! 📖🐾
Every great RES Story needs someone who believes in the characters, helps guide the journey, and reminds us that every Cougar Cub has a story worth telling. 💙
October is Principal’s Month, we are celebrating Mrs. Tina Watson and the leadership, encouragement, and heart she brings to Roby Elementary! From building relationships with students and staff to supporting teachers and partnering with families, Mrs. Watson is helping our Cougar Cubs move forward together toward a bright future. 🐾✨
Her leadership helps create a school where our students can grow as Mastery Learners, Innovative Problem Solvers, Effective Communicators, Productive Collaborators, Self-Directed Navigators, and Community Contributors—the very skills BCPS believes will prepare them for success beyond the classroom.
Thank you, Mrs. Watson, for helping make our RES Story one filled with learning, growth, friendship, courage, and endless possibilities. We are so glad you're part of our story! 💙🐾
There’s a friend in RES!

☀️📚 Math looks a little brighter in the sunshine!
Our 3rd graders took today’s math learning outdoors, bringing their learning target to life while enjoying some fresh air and sunshine! 🌿☀️
Learning doesn’t have to happen within four walls. Experiences like this encourage students to think, problem-solve, communicate, collaborate, and take ownership of their learning—skills that are at the heart of the BCPS Graduate Profile.
Today, our Cougars were growing as Mastery Learners, Innovative Problem Solvers, Productive Collaborators, and Self-Directed Navigators—all while having a little fun with math! 💙🐾
Learning happens everywhere. We’re Moving Forward! ✨

In the library, students have been learning how to use Beanstack to log their reading minutes and have already earned our school the Igniter badge.
Here are directions for logging your child into the Beanstack app at home. Student email follows this pattern: firstname.lastname@stu.bullitt.kyschools.us.
If that doesn't work, please contact your student's teacher or Ms. Hettinger. Thank you for helping encourage your students to read!
