The BAMS Program has just returned from their Marine Biology Adventure, which included stops at Animal Kingdom, SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Universal Studios. During this trip, students had the opportunity to learn about marine conservation, got to interact with aquatic animals such as dolphins and rays, and explore the habitats and ecosystems of marine life. In the fall semester, students in the BAMS program took a marine biology course that prepared them for their studies while in Florida. During our adventure, students became #MasteryLearners as they applied content to settings and contexts beyond our classrooms.

ROC and BVLA teachers teamed up with ATC teachers to learn about Authentic Learning Experiences and technical opportunities for students.
BAC and Spring Meadows teachers learned more about Lecorgan counseling and Trauma Informed Care - it has been a great day of learning so far!

This evening was the District STEM Challenge, and guess what - our BAMS student team are the champions for the high school level!

This morning, BVLA High School students met with Charles Wilson, Product Manager at HP and former Apple Podcasts content producer. Mr. Wilson shared best practices for podcasting as they prepare their own podcasts, which will chronicle their experiences with virtual learning in BVLA.
This is a great example of the Graduate Profile component #MasteryLearner, as students are using many resources to learn the application of a new skill!

Our CRC students had a great time visiting JCTC's Advanced Manufacturing and Information Technology Center (AMIT) today! They learned a lot about their opportunities, including the KY FAME program - where participants can earn a living and get college/certification paid for at the same time!
