Daniel Mullins: New Director of Early Childhood & Specialized Learning

SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY — Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) is excited to announce that Mr. Daniel Mullins has been named the district’s new Director of Early Childhood and Specialized Learning. Mr. Mullins joins the district leadership team following a highly successful tenure as the Principal of Lebanon Junction Elementary School (LJES).

Throughout his time at LJES, Mr. Mullins established a proven track record of instructional leadership, leadership mentoring, and deep community collaboration. His diverse background includes leadership and classroom roles across multiple Kentucky school districts. Prior to taking the helm at LJES, he served as a principal in Hardin County Schools and as a dedicated classroom teacher in both Bullitt County Public Schools and Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS).

An accomplished educator, Mr. Mullins was named the 2011 Bullitt County Elementary Teacher of the Year and is a recipient of the prestigious Ashland Inc. Teacher Achievement Award. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Spalding University, and a Rank 1 National Board Certification.

Mr. Mullins’ appointment represents a vital step in this ongoing mission.
