BULLITT COUNTY, KY — Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) is celebrating a major achievement as local educators and the district receive top honors from Advance Kentucky’s Access to Algebra program.
The awards highlight outstanding dedication to expanding access to high-level mathematics, fostering student growth, and driving academic success across the region:
Excellence in Teaching Award: Presented to Brady Keehn of Zoneton Middle School for exceptional instruction and dedication to building student confidence in algebra.
Administrator Award: Presented to Dr. Amy Compton for outstanding leadership and support in implementing impactful algebra initiatives.
Outstanding District Award: Awarded to Bullitt County Public Schools in recognition of system-wide commitment to equitable access, high-quality instruction, and student achievement in mathematics.

Advance Kentucky’s Access to Algebra initiative works alongside Kentucky school districts to strengthen middle school mathematics foundations, preparing students for advanced coursework and future academic opportunities.
