We made it, BCPS – Summer break is finally here! As we close out the 2022-2023 school year, we want to take time to reflect on the past year we’ve had together.

To our Students: seeing you all grow, change, and learn this year has been an inspiration to us! We hope that we’ve inspired you to dream big and that we’ve equipped you with the tools you need to succeed and to make those dreams become reality. Seniors, you all are ready to tackle the world, and we can’t wait to see where you go from here. We hope you look back on your time in BCPS with fondness and that you take the skills you’ve learned here with you wherever you go in life.

To our Families: we couldn’t have done it without you! When you look around our district, our Core Value of Shared Accountability is so evident. That age-old saying “It takes a village” is certainly true, and we’re so thankful that you allowed us to be a part of your village this year. It was a pleasure playing a role in helping educate your child and we can’t thank you enough for entrusting us with your most precious gifts.

To our BCPS staff: I cannot express my thanks enough for your hard work throughout this incredibly difficult school year! You all have absolutely gone above and beyond to help make sure our students are as successful as they can be. We hope that you take time to rest, relax, and recharge this summer. Have a great break and we can’t wait to hit the ground running with you again come August.

Have a safe, healthy, and happy Summer Break, everyone!
