Happy Super Bowl Weekend! Reminder- we DO have school on MONDAY! Here is our Family Newsletter 2/7/26. https://sites.google.com/bullitt.kyschools.us/broncobulletin24-25/bronco-bulletin?authuser=0

What a GREAT first full week back at school! We are so proud of our students for jumping right back into learning and showing strong effort in their iReady lessons. Your hard work, focus, and persistence are paying off — and it shows! 👏
Because of your amazing work this week, students who met their goals will start next week leveled up on their classroom Leadership Chart! Keep showing what it means to be leaders in learning.
Families — thank you for continuing to encourage practice, perseverance, and goal-setting at home. We see the difference it makes every single day.
Let’s keep the momentum going, Broncos! 🐎

📢 iReady Roll Call — Better Late Than Never! 💻❄️
We owe you an apology for the late post — but this one was too important to skip!
Last week brought NTI days and snow days, and these students still showed up, logged in, and got their learning done. That takes dedication, responsibility, and serious Bronco leadership.
These students completed their iReady lessons from home and kept their progress moving forward when it would have been easy to pause. That’s what leaders do — they stay focused, even when things look different.
We are so proud of you for modeling what it means to be Kind, Strong, and Well — the Bronco Way in action.
Families — thank you for supporting learning at home during NTI and weather days. Your partnership makes all the difference.

The 100th Day of School is now 2/4! Let's celebrate!

Because of the snowy week, we are rescheduling our student-led conferences. Please see the image for details.

Shoutout to our amazing students who passed 2 reading lessons AND 2 math lessons on MyPath last week! 💪📚➕ Your hard work earned an automatic LEADERSHIP clip-up EVERY DAY this week — that’s the Bronco Way! 🐎⭐
Even though most of our students are learning from home this week, your effort STILL counts. You may not be clipping up in your classroom right now, but we ARE still monitoring MyPath progress — and we’ll be doing our next i-Ready Roll Call this weekend!
Families, thank you for all you do to support learning at home. 💛 Keep encouraging students to stay consistent with 2 reading lessons and 2 math lessons each week — it makes a BIG difference!
We are so proud of our Broncos for being kind, strong, and well.

Hi, families!
It was so great to see everyone back this past week. This month is all about
Perseverance. One way to think about Perseverance is “pushing yourself through challenges and obstacles.” Perseverance is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Strong. Across grade levels, students will be
developing skills like focusing, organizing, and goal-setting.

🛡️ Safety Update for Our Families 🛡️
Today at school, we completed our state-required safety drills, including severe weather, hard lockdown, earthquake, and fire drills. These drills were conducted in a developmentally appropriate, calm, and supportive way to help students feel prepared—not scared.
⭐ We are incredibly proud of our students—they were respectful, focused, and followed directions beautifully during each drill.
💬 If your child brings it up, here are easy, reassuring questions to ask:
• “What did your teacher say to help everyone feel safe?”
• “What part of the drill went really well?”
• “Who was helping keep you safe?”
❤️ Helpful responses if worries come up:
• “Drills help us practice, just like practice for a game.”
• “Your school practices so adults know exactly how to keep you safe.”
• “These drills don’t mean something bad will happen—just that we’re prepared.”
⭐ Why this matters:
Practicing safety helps students build confidence, trust adults, and know what to do in different situations.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school safe, calm, and strong 💙

Hi, families!
We are continuing to learn about Empathy and how we can connect with others by understanding how they are feeling.
This week's read aloud is Each Kindness by Jacqueline Woodson. It is a moving story about how small acts of kindness create ripple effects.
