📚📚Our school library is officially back in action! Last week, students had a blast with our library scavenger hunts, and this week, the real fun begins: book checkout! 📚📚 🗣️🗣️ Here's what you need to know 🗣️🗣️ Kindergarten, 1st grade, and Mrs. Burkhead's students will each check out one book to keep in their classroom cubby. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will get to check out two books to take home and enjoy. Books may be checked out for two weeks. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Wooldridge, our Library Media Specialist. theresa.wooldridge@bullitt.kyschools.us ✨✨ We are so excited to see our students exploring new worlds and getting lost in a good story. 🚨 Don't forget! 🚨

Tomorrow, September 9th, is BCPS High Attendance Day and Pajama Day!

We'd love to set a new record, and we need YOU to be here! Let's get every single student in the building and show our support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Week.

And what better way to do it than in your coziest pajamas? We're trading in our usual outfits for our favorite PJs. Please remember to wear your regular school shoes though! Safety First!

So, set your alarms, get a good night's sleep, and roll out of bed and right into school this Tuesday. Let's make it a day to remember!

Dear BCPS Families, Helping your child retain learning over summer vacation is important. i-Ready can help! Your child can work on i-Ready in Math and Reading from any computer with internet access all summer long. Students can log in through Clever using their BCPS email and password. Students are encouraged to complete 40 minutes per week in both Reading and Math. This regular practice helps prevent summer learning loss and sets your child up for success in the fall! ✅ A Summer Learning Tracker will help your child stay on target each week. 📄 We’ve attached a step-by-step directions page to help you log in to i-Ready through Clever. 💻 For the best experience, we recommend using an actual computer or Chromebook instead of an iPhone or iPad. Let’s make this a summer of growth!

Good evening! Tomorrow is Field Day! We will have our day of fun rain or shine. Here are some things to remember to bring tomorrow to make it a success! - a towel - a change of clothes - water bottle - sunglasses/hat/rain jacket - money for snacks! I would recommend putting sunscreen on your student before coming to school. If they’d like to bring a small backpack to carry their belongings they can, but they are responsible for it. We will have a Field Day regardless of the weather! Can’t wait to have an awesome day tomorrow!
