Thanks to all who have added to our aluminum beverage can count. Grade A recycling will be here Monday to take our bin and get our first total count. This will help move us on down the road to recycling! We have almost filled the first bin. An empty bin will give us plenty of room and a fresh start for our National Recycling Day collection coming on November 15th. Keep up the awesome work and know "Your Can Counts".
We will keep you posted!!

Happy National STEM Day!
Thank you to Mrs. Noe for all you do for our students EVERY day! We appreciate you!

Happy Halloween festivities at MWES

Wade and Makenzie were amazing helpers today. The earned "can crushing" with Mrs. Adams by spending their points. They could balance, crush, and even did some crushing with their feet. We had a fun time getting the job done! So Your Can Really Does Count! We are putting a big dent in filling up this bin. Our first pick up is scheduled for Nov. 11th. We will keep you posted!!

As we approach Veteran's Day we will be sharing some letters written by our 2nd grade students.
Please take a moment to take a look at their hard work!

Friday was an amazing day at MWES and these Braves made it even better. Jackie and Caroline were both "caught" following the expectations on how to enter and exit a Pow-Wow. They earned a coin to pick a book from the book vending machine. They should feel so proud for making good choices!!

It was a great start to the week as these 2 Braves were following the Braves Expectations. Stone provided an example of how to stand in the line while in the cafeteria. Jaxston was all about showing others how to wash yours hands in the appropriate manner at school. Thanks to these guys for making MWES a better place!!!
