Pierce recently chose to spend his earned points on a Lego building activity, and what a great choice it was! He carefully designed and created a bird, including wings and a beak. 🐦

From start to finish, Pierce showed incredible patience and determination, working hard until every last piece was in place and the final result turned out perfect!

Adventures with Adams is such a special part of my school day! 🎉

We love celebrating moments like these, where students are recognized for making positive choices and get to enjoy meaningful, creative experiences. Way to go, Pierce! 👏

🌟 Recycling Superheroes in Action! 🌟

Shout out to two amazing families who spend their weekends collecting cans in their neighborhoods! These recycling superheroes get their siblings involved, and everyone chips in to get the job done. 💪♻️

We love to see our bins running over with cans! 🥫✨ A big thank you to everyone saving their cans for the Millions Can Contest. We’re in the final weeks, and we need our whole community to pitch in so we can win—every can helps, and it’s great for our planet too! 🌍💚

🎉Adventures with Points🎉 Ethan, Ledge, Hank, Steven and Jayce decided to spend their earned points on a can crushing adventure, but with a fun twist: it was a windy day!💨 The boys embraced the challenge, turning the gusty conditions into even more excitement as they chased down cans and bags. It was amazing to see this group of friends come together, use their points, and create such a fun, memorable experience. These boys truly know how to turn a challenge into an adventure! 💪🥳

🌟 Recycling Update from MWES! 🌟

We’re thrilled to share that our first pick-up from the bins at our community Kroger has happened and was a success! A huge thank you to our amazing community for jumping in to support our aluminum can recycling efforts. ♻️

A special shout-out to the Lagler family for helping monitor the bins and ensuring they get emptied—your dedication makes a big difference! 🙌

Just a friendly reminder:

*The bins are located at both sets of doors at Kroger for a convenient place to recycle.

*Only empty cans should go in these bins.

*If you have a larger amount of cans, you can drop them off at the bin behind the school or call MWES at 869-3000 for pick-up.

We also want to thank Kroger for encouraging recycling and partnering with us in this contest. The competition ends April 30th, so keep those cans coming and help MWES reach the top! 🏆

Let’s keep making a difference—one can at a time! 💚

♻️ Celebrating Our 3rd Grade Recycling Heroes! ♻️

Our amazing 3rd graders have reached an incredible milestone — 105,000 cans collected! 🎉 This is a huge step on the road to recycling success, and we are so proud of their hard work and commitment to helping our environment.

To celebrate this achievement, our recycling heroes earned a pack of slime thanks to the generosity of Tri-Arrows Aluminum! 🟢

Every can collected makes a difference, and our students are proving that small actions add up to big impact. Let’s keep the momentum going… keep bringing in those cans! ♻️👏

Let’s show our support for the Bullitt East girls basketball team as they compete in the state tournament today by wearing your Charger gear or the colors black and white. Good luck, Chargers! 🏀❤️🖤

Rain or shine, week day or weekend, the Recycling Superheroes never stop! One crew used their own time to gather the cans from their neighborhood. Which was a great success and filled the car. Others had to empty the large school bin on a rainy, wet day. They know their hard work is helping the Earth. The sign has also been officially displayed on our bin once again. So all things are ready and set to make March the best aluminum beverage can recycling month yet!! ♻️♻️ 🍀We know it can't happen just by luck so please continue to support our school!!! 🍀 #MillionCansContest

Adventures with Adams continued with Samuel! He has a quiet demeanor but his kind manner cannot be unnoticed. His points earned were well deserved and it was my pleasure to celebrate recognizing him for these achievements. I enjoyed supporting him and his creativity constructing a Lego animal. We are proud of his efforts to follow the Braves expectations!
