Way to show up MWES! Students received free shirts and fidgets from the library and loved the books that were read. Mrs. Reibert read about Humpty Dumpty getting back up after a fall and another story was read about sharing. It was super fun to see everyone!

Please come join us for our final Storytelling with MWES teacher mystery reader. It will be held at the Mt. Washington Public Library tomorrow, Tuesday, July 25th at 1pm. Come get a fun fidget and maybe hear a new story or listen to an old favorite. We have had a great time this summer and hope to see you there!!

Another fun day listening to stories from Mrs. Meredith and Mrs. O'Conner. Glad to see all those who came out. Plan now to attend our last summer reading at the Bullitt County Public Library in a few weeks.






It is time for storytelling by a mystery MWES teacher at the Bullitt County Public Library tomorrow July 11, at 1:00. There will be a fidget given to all who attend. Please come out and see us.

Another great time was enjoyed by so many as Mrs. Reibert entertained with a book about a Smart Cookie and Mrs. O'Conner shared about the legend of rock, paper, scissors. Always fun to listen to a new story or even hear a good book again. Participants received a fidget from the library and students accomplished another activity on their reading challenge. We enjoyed seeing those who came out and hope more will plan to attend on our next event on July 11th!!




Come out tomorrow to the Bullitt County Public Library to hear from a mystery reader from MWES. It will begin at 1:00 pm and you might receive a free goody from the library. This can count towards your summer reading challenge as well. Let's pack the room!

Week two of Summer Learning is a wrap! Our students have been having fun and working hard! See you in a few weeks.








Today concluded our first week of summer learning! Students had a great time working on reading and math. The ended the week being ninjas!











Tuesday was a great day at the Bullitt County Public Library in Mt. Washington.
Two teachers shared a story and students worked on the summer reading challenge.
Our next library day is Tuesday, June 27th.

It was a great day recognizing our Kindergarten students. They grow so much over the year and they did an amazing job singing for all in attendance. The teachers awarded students for their achievements in many areas including reading, writing, science; creativity and social skills as well. We are all so proud of them!
