Students should have received in their CREW today permissions slips for the Grinchmas Dance being held on Dec. 17.

Dance is Dec. 17 from 3:00 to 4:30. This is a fundraiser for the 8th grade trip.

Here is the information for the BCPS Boys Basketball 6th grade tournament being played Saturday at BLMS.

We are excited to bring Legally Blonde Junior the Musical to Bullitt County April 24-25, 2026!

This musical is open to ALL BCPS Middle School Students. Auditions will be held Tuesday, December 16th from 3:00-5:30 at Mt. Washington Middle School. ***Callbacks will be held Thursday 12/18 if needed.

Please complete the form and review the important attendance/expectations information if you plan to audition. Audition materials will be emailed to the address included in the sign up, or packets can be picked up from Mrs. Culver's office beginning Thursday 12/11.

MWMS will be hosting a Grinchmas Dance on Dec. 17 to raise funds for the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. Donations are needed for the dance, and we hope you can help.

Donations can be brought to MWMS anytime between now and December 17.

8th grade Families:

Submit your 8th grader's baby photo to Ms. Hutchins (Cheryl.hutchins@bullitt.kyschools.us) by December 10. They can be emailed to her or students can drop them off to the box located in Mrs. Culver's office.

Can you help spread some holiday cheer for our staff at MWMS?

There are still several teacher's ornaments left. If you cannot make it to MWMS to pick up an ornament, reach out to Mrs. Lesher (kim.lesher@bullitt.kyschools.us) and she'll make arrangements to get you an ornament.

Congratulations to Audriana T., Isabella T. and Landon H. for competing at Saturday's Chess tournament at Roby Elementary. MWMS placed 6th and Landon, individually, placed 8th. Nice job chess team!

Good luck to the Generals Basketball team in their games this week!

Generals will travel to Hebron on Dec. 10. Games begin at 5:30.

The 7th grade county basketball tournament will be played Dec. 11/12 at Zoneton.

The 6th grade county tourney will be played Dec. 13 at BLMS.

Shout out to our MWMS Cheer Squad: *1st place in their division *Overall highest score of all school teams in their session *Best stunts *AND the girls won the longest extension contest. Two weeks until their shot to earn a state title!💜💛 #ForTheMount

The Academic Team placed 3rd in the 6th Grade Showcase at Bardstown Middle School this weekend (Saturday). Quick Recall finished in 3rd place. Kate S. led the way in written assessment, scoring 1st in Science, 2nd in Arts & Humanities, and 5th in Composition. Lucy P. placed 4th in Composition, and Zoey F. placed 5th in Language Arts. It was a great showing by all members! 💜💛 #ForTheMount

They had submitted their General Star tickets, which they earned for being caught following the STAR expectations, to the bucket and had their name drawn.
