MWMS Families: Just a reminder to get those school fees paid. You have the yearly district Chromebook fee ($35) and an Instructional Fee ($16) that needs to be paid as soon as possible. Fees can be paid online or cash/check brought to school and given to first period teachers.

MWMS HOME games will use GoFan for ticket purchases this year . NO CASH will be accepted at the door.

Ms. Williams hosted a book tasting today for Mrs. Talley's 8th grade Language Arts classes. The students had an opportunity to "sample" many different books and then check out something that interested them. It was a great day in the MWMS Library!

Good luck to the Lady Generals Basketball Team in their games this week. They will be on the road this evening at St. Joe's then will have their first home game Thursday.

8th grade families:

There will be a parent meeting on Tuesday, August 26 at 5:30 pm for those interested in the MWMS 8th grade trip. The meeting will be held in the MWMS Library. Your student does not have to attend this meeting.

Today was Drill Day at MWMS!

We are required to complete our safety drills at the beginning of the year and periodically throughout the year. We just wanted you to know in case your student comes home talking about safety drills today.

8th grade families:

If your student is interested in the 2025-2026 8th grade trip, please register and learn more at the attached QR code. A meeting will be held in the near future, but this allows you to see information before the meeting.

Families:

A form is being sent home today (Monday, August 18) with your student in regards to our Mental Health Wellness Program scheduled for August 26th.

The form will have all necessary information but if you have any additional questions or concerns please reach out. The form is to be returned ONLY if you wish your child NOT to participate.

Families: Make plans to join us on Thursday, August 21 at 5:30 PM to see the projects this year's Crew groups have created. These projects were created to raise awareness for the nonprofit their group selected. Kona Ice and other treats will be onsite for purchase.

Families who are in the car rider line, please pull as closely as you can to the car in front of you. On days that we have buses not running, we have lots of extra cars in the car rider line. We need all the space that we can get in order to get everyone in line. Thanks!
