lit up someone’s world today by wearing bright colors!
Students also were challenged to start a conversation with someone they have never spoken to before or someone they haven’t talked to for a long time.
This weeks staff spotlight goes to Mrs. Polson. "Mrs. Polson is a wonderful team leader. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful in many different ways. She is very efficient with our big picture plans and so kind to help us. Her heart is not only big for all of her kids, but for us as her team." #koalascreate
Today we kicked off the first day of Start with Hello. Students dressed in their favorite things! Wear something to show us one of your favorite things.
Students were also challenged to create their own personal handshake or “Hello” style and use it this week to greet others!
This week starts Go Gold Grams! They will be sold for 50 cents each. Flyers are being sent home with your student. Donations will be used to purchase gift cards to DoorDash for inpatient families at Norton Children's Hospital Cancer Institute.
Friday is Childhood Cancer Awareness Day in Bullitt County. T-shirts are being sold, if you would like to order a tshirt please fill out the link below ASAP they will stop taking orders on Wednesday.

Mrs. Bray’s class was able to observe a Black Swallowtail caterpillar from the chrysalis stage to full adult! We celebrated the success of this by releasing it together as a class. #koalascreate #celebrate success

Our Kona Ice day had to be rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 15th. Not all students got to visit the truck today, so the remaining classes will go on Friday!
